Welcome to JUKE—the marketplace for digital collectibles from film and TV studios.
This Privacy Notice explains how JUKE Ventures, Inc. (“JUKE”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our website, www.juke.io, and our NFT marketplace (collectively, our “Platforms”) and the related content, services, products and other functionality offered on or through the Platforms (the “Platform Services”).
This Privacy Notice does not address our privacy practices relating to JUKE employees or other personnel. In addition, this Privacy Notice is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations.
What is an NFT?
Non-fungible tokens or NFTs are digital tokens that let you easily determine ownership and verify authenticity of unique items, such as images and short video clips. NFTs are powered by blockchain technology—meaning a shared digital ledger is used to record NFT transactions and track NFT ownership. Our Platforms primarily leverage Flow, a prominent blockchain developed to optimize NFT transactions. Although we don’t own Flow or any other virtual item blockchain, we are able to leverage public digital ledgers to provide our Platform Services.
What is Personal Information?
In connection with our Platform Services, we collect and process personal information. When we use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. It does not include aggregated or deidentified information that is maintained in a form that is not reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to an individual.
Our Collection of Personal Information
Sometimes we collect personal information automatically when an individual interacts with our Platform Services, and sometimes we collect personal information directly from an individual. At times, we may collect personal information about an individual from other sources and third parties, even before our first direct interaction. In certain circumstances, such as where required by law, we may obtain consent for the collection of personal information. Consent may be withdrawn by following any applicable instructions provided where we obtained consent or as otherwise communicated to the individual.
Personal Information Collected Directly from Individuals
We collect the following personal information individuals provide in connection with our Platform Services:
- Contact Information, including first and last name, email address, social media handles, and communication preferences.
- Marketplace Account Information, including first and last name, email address, username and password, profile picture, country of origin, payment information, billing address, and shipping address. Please note we use third-party payment providers to process payments on our behalf and do not accept payment directly through our Platforms. In addition, each account can only be associated with one designated email address, as each individual’s email address is directly tied to their eligible cryptocurrency wallet.
- Blockchain Information, including public Flow or other blockchain account username, account balance, and cryptocurrency wallet information, including username associated with an individual’s digital wallet and cryptocurrency wallet address. Please note a cryptocurrency wallet is required to use our NFT marketplace and we may prompt users to create a Dapper account/wallet if they do not already have one.
- NFT and Transaction Information, including drop eligibility, NFT and pack purchase and sale history, challenges participated in and completed, badges earned, NFT collection and value, corresponding smart contracts, keys and related information, and metadata describing each NFT’s properties as a digital asset.
- Inquiry Information, including information provided in custom messages sent through our Platform Services or provided directly to a member of the JUKE team.
Personal Information Automatically Collected
As is true of most digital platforms, we and our third-party providers may also collect personal information from an individual’s device, browsing actions, and site usage patterns automatically when visiting or interacting with our Platform Services, which may include:
- Log Data, such as internet protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type, browser ID, the URL entered and the referring page/campaign, date/time of visit, the time spent on our Platform Services, and any errors that may occur during the visit to our Platform Services.
- Analytics Data, such as the electronic path taken to our Platform Services, through our Platform Services, and when exiting our Platform Services, as well as usage and activity on our Platform Services.
- Location Data, such as general geographic location based on the log data we or our third-party providers collect.
For information about our and our third-party providers’ use of cookies and related technologies to collect information automatically, and any choices individuals may have in relation to its collection, please review the Cookies and Related Technologies section below.
Personal Information from Third Parties
We also obtain personal information from third parties, which we often combine with personal information we collect either automatically or directly from an individual.
We may receive the same categories of personal information as described above from the following third parties:
- Third-Party Wallet Extensions: Cryptocurrency wallets such as Dapper provide us with an individual’s wallet address and certain other information an individual chooses to share.
- Single Sign-On: We allow individuals to sign on to our Platforms through certain third-party accounts the individual maintains. When an individual uses single sign-on services to access our Platforms, we do not receive the individual’s login credentials for the relevant third-party service. Instead, we receive tokens from the single sign-on service to help identify the individual in our system (such as by an individual’s email) and confirm the individual successfully authenticated with the single sign-on services. This information allows us to more easily provide individuals access to our Platforms.
- Social Media: When an individual interacts with us through various social media networks, such as when someone communicates with us through Twitter or Discord, we may receive some information about the individual that they permit the social network to share with third parties. The data we receive is dependent upon an individual’s privacy settings with the social network. Individuals should always review and, if necessary, adjust their privacy settings on third-party websites and social media networks and services before sharing information and/or linking or connecting them to other services.
- Event Coordinators: We may attend or sponsor events, such as film festivals or conventions, and obtain personal information regarding attendees of those events. We may receive this personal information directly from individuals who choose to interact with us at those events, or we may obtain information directly from event coordinators in connection with an individual’s registration for and attendance at the event.
- Service Providers: Our service providers that perform services solely on our behalf, such as payment processing and marketing providers, collect personal information and often share some or all of this information with us.
- Affiliates: We may receive personal information from other companies owned or controlled by JUKE, and other companies owning or under common ownership with JUKE. This includes our subsidiaries (i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns, particularly when we collaborate in providing services.
- Information Providers: We may from time to time obtain information from third-party information providers to correct or supplement personal information we collect. For example, we may obtain updated contact information from third-party information providers to reconnect with an individual.
- Publicly Available Sources: We collect personal information about individuals that we do not otherwise have, such as contact information or an individual’s interest in our Platform Services, from publicly available sources. We may combine this information with the information we collect from an individual directly.
Our Use of Personal Information
We use personal information we collect to:
- Manage our organization and its day-to-day operations;
- Communicate with individuals, including via email and social media;
- Market our Platform Services to individuals, including through in-person events, social media, email, and other online venues, based on individual interests and interactions with us;
- Administer, improve, and personalize our Platform Services, including by recognizing an individual and remembering their information when they return to our Platforms;
- Facilitate transactions and individual benefits and services, including customer support;
- Identify and analyze how individuals use our Platform Services;
- Conduct research and analytics on our user base and our Platform Services;
- Improve and customize our Platform Services to address the needs and interests of our user base and other individuals we interact with;
- Test, enhance, update, and monitor the Platform Services, or diagnose or fix technology problems;

Where an individual chooses to contact us, we may need additional information to fulfill the request or respond to inquiries. We may provide additional privacy-related information where the scope of the inquiry/request and/or personal information we require fall outside the scope of this Privacy Notice. In that case, the additional privacy notice will govern how we may process the information provided at that time.
Our Disclosure of Personal Information
We disclose Personal Information in the following ways:
- Affiliates: We share personal information with other companies owned or controlled by JUKE, and other companies owning or under common ownership with JUKE. This includes our subsidiaries (i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns, particularly when we collaborate in providing services.
- NFT Partners: We may share personal information with our partners that license us the intellectual property rights needed to provide individuals with NFTs. For example, we may share an individual’s username or wallet extension when they purchase an NFT licensed by one of our partners to properly record the transfer of ownership over the NFT.
- Third-Party Payment Facilitation Providers and Cryptocurrency Wallet Extensions: We share personal information with third-party payment facilitation providers and cryptocurrency wallet extensions to process cryptocurrency transactions using the cryptocurrency wallet designated in an individual’s account.
- Marketplace Users and Visitors: If an individual uses our NFT marketplace, we disclose the individual’s public marketplace account information and associated NFT collections to other NFT marketplace users and visitors, as well as any other information individuals choose to provide or make public.

- Business Transaction or Reorganization: We may take part in or be involved with a corporate business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, joint venture, or financing or sale of company assets. We may disclose personal information to a third party during negotiation of, in connection with or as an asset in such a corporate business transaction. Personal information may also be disclosed in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership.
- Legal Obligations and Rights: We may disclose personal information to third parties, such as legal advisors and law enforcement:
- in connection with the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
- to comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process;
- to protect our rights and property and the rights and property of others, including to enforce our agreements and policies;
- to detect, suppress, or prevent fraud;
- to protect the health and safety of us and others; or
- as otherwise required by applicable law.
- Otherwise with Consent or Direction: We may disclose personal information about an individual to certain other third parties or publicly with the individual’s consent or direction. For example, with an individual’s consent or direction we may post their testimonial on our Platforms or service-related publications.
Our Retention of Personal Information
We retain personal information as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer period is required under applicable law or is needed to resolve disputes or protect our legal rights. However, account holders have the ability to modify and/or delete certain information relating to their accounts (such as their contact information), through the account settings page.
Cookies and Related Technologies
Overview of Cookies
We and our third-party providers may use (i) cookies or small data files that are stored on an individual’s computer and (ii) other, similar technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, embedded scripts, location-identifying technologies and logging technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to automatically collect personal information and use or disclose the personal information for the purposes described in the sections above. For example, our services use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), to collect and view reports about the traffic on our website. Individuals can obtain more information on the use of Google Analytics by visiting Google’s privacy policy here and individuals can view Google’s currently available opt-out options here.
Choice Relating to the Use of Cookies on Our Platform Services
If an individual would prefer not to accept cookies, most browsers will allow the individual to: (i) change the individual’s browser settings to notify the individual when the individual receives a cookie, which lets the individual choose whether or not to accept it; (ii) disable existing cookies; or (iii) set the individual’s browser to automatically reject cookies. Please note that doing so may negatively impact the individual’s experience using our website, as some features and offerings may not work properly or at all. Depending on the individual’s device and operating system, the individual may not be able to delete or block all cookies. In addition, if the individual wants to reject cookies across all browsers and devices, the individual will need to do so on each browser on each device the individual actively uses. The individual may also set their email options to prevent the automatic downloading of images that may contain technologies that would allow us to know whether they have accessed our email and performed certain functions with it.
Additional Choice Relating to Third-Party Advertising Cookies
Please note certain of our third-party providers may directly collect personal information about individuals’ online activities over time and across different websites when individuals use our website for purposes of providing online behavioral or interest-based advertising services to third parties. We support the self-regulatory principles for online behavioral advertising (“Principles”) published by the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”). These Principles allow individuals to exercise choice regarding the collection of information about their online activities over time and across third-party websites for online interest-based advertising purposes.
More information about the DAA Principles can be found at www.aboutads.info. If an individual wants to opt out of receiving online interest-based advertisements on their internet browser from advertisers and third parties that participate in the DAA program and the related Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) program and perform advertising-related services for us and our advertising partners, please follow the instructions at www.aboutads.info/choicesand http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ to place an opt-out cookie on the individual’s device indicating that they do not want to receive interest-based advertisements. Opt-out cookies only work on the internet browser and device they are downloaded onto. If an individual wants to opt out of interest-based advertisements across all browsers and devices, the individual will need to opt out on each browser on each device they actively use. If the individual deletes cookies on a device generally, they will need to opt out again.
To opt out of receiving online interest-based advertisements from advertisers and third parties that participate in the DAA program on mobile apps, an individual can follow the instructions at http://www.aboutads.info/appchoices.
Please note that when an individual opts out of receiving interest-based advertisements, this does not mean the individual will no longer see advertisements from us on our website or third-party websites. It means that the online ads that the individual does see from DAA program participants should not be based on that individual’s interests. We are not responsible for the effectiveness of, or compliance with, any third parties’ opt-out options or programs or the accuracy of their statements regarding their programs. In addition, third parties may still use cookies to collect information about individuals’ use of our online services, including for analytics and fraud prevention as well as any other purpose permitted under the DAA’s Principles and other program requirements.
Children’s Personal Information
Our Platform Services are not directed to, and we do not intend to, or knowingly, collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If an individual is under the age of 13, they should not use our Platform Services or otherwise provide us with any personal information either directly or by other means. If a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, we encourage the child’s parent or guardian to contact us to request that we remove the personal information from our systems. If we learn that any personal information we collect has been provided by a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that personal information.
State-Specific Disclosures
We may choose or be required by law to provide different or additional information relating to the processing of personal information (as defined below) about residents of certain states. Please refer below for additional information that may be applicable to you:
- Nevada: If you are a resident of the State of Nevada, Chapter 603A of the Nevada Revised Statutes permits a Nevada resident to opt out of future sales of certain covered information that a website operator has collected or will collect about the resident. Although we do not currently sell covered information, please contact us at info@juke.io to submit such a request.
